We have reached the downward spiral of counting down the top 10 singers to listen to in the folk/bluegrass/country genre. (These are in no certain order except who I think to put on the list). Artist number 3 is Patty Griffin.

As I do laundry, figure out what to do with my kiddos the rest of the semester, and apply online for various jobs in the mountains this afternoon, I thought I'd hit the shuffle and see what happened. As always, here goes nothin'.

I got a text message from a friend today who had a ticket to the Three Girls and Their Buddy tour tonight in Chattanooga, so I am getting ready to head out to the show. I am excited about the show, not only cause I get to spend time with my friend who I do not get to see enough, but get to see Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, and Shawn Colvin in concert. I am a huge fan of Emmylou and Patty and have liked Shawn Colvin for a very long time.
