A high level source tells me that folks who own the "acceptable" camping area down at Tent City are considering ending the service due to what they called "a growing population" and increasing problems associated with that growth.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with the Postville raids, so I won’t go in depth into the background.  Suffice to say there was an enormous raid on a plant there and a bunch of folks were rounded up and arrested and sent to prison, after which, they will be deported.

A rumor yesterday from a very high level source tells me that the folks at Inner City Ministries are just about at their wit's end with their own "Tent City," a strip of land on the Cumberland owned by them and given to the homeless as a place to camp without hassles from law enforcement for trespassing.
