A column in the Daily Journal gives departing Nashville Scene editor Liz Garrigan a send-off I would like to pretend I didn’t read. Not only did they spell the 14 year veteran journalist’s name wrong they compared her to Maureen Dowd:

"...the ultimate solution is to create enough housing and services so we don't have to face that issue..."

Well, at least Seattle officials are giving some warning before coming in to "dismantle" the camps. Nashville has a policy in place that is supposed to send in a Social Services worker to a targeted camp in order to warn residents of impending doom, but it doesn't always happen that way...
