Slate has an interesting piece that dissects the McCain healthcare plan. Essentially, it says that it is a Robin Hood plan that attempts to solve soaring heath insurance costs with the same tactics that were used to curb credit card abuses in the 1970s.

I saw Mitt Romney’s concession speech at CPAC today and was favorably impressed. Without a doubt, it was the best speech I’ve ever heard Romney give, and had I seen more of this during the campaign I might have even supported him.

Since Romney is pretty much out of it, I will allow myself to start talking about how much he sucks. This post isn’t about Romney though, not specifically, but about what to expect with universal health care. They say that states are laboratories for policy.
