Having watched Turn Left and now the second part of the penultimate episode called The Stolen Earth from Doctor Who, I can only say wow. We have one more week to go when we get to see the finale with Journey’s End.

Meet Tom. Tom is an adult male cat. He is a beautiful gray Tabby domestic short-hair with green eyes. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots. He is very friendly and would make an excellent companion...

It seems like the biggest difference between has been rockers and has been rappers is how they get involved with drugs after their careers or over.  Old rockers go to rehab.  Old rappers start slingin’.

The big news in the Doctor Who world is that producer Russell T. Davies will step down as producer at the end of next year. (I hesitate to call it a season since we're only getting four specials next year to accomodate the schedule of the actor in the lead role...or so we're lead to believe).

It was with near-hyperventilation and great chagrin that I fully realized this morning that my sweet Mac will be taken from me tomorrow. I must admit it was one of the great selling points of moving here, and since August, it has been a companion second only to Dorian.

I had planned to do a companion post to the one covering Mike Padgett's visit last week, but today's luncheon with special guest Bob Tuke turned out to be closed to the press. I wasn't the only one who had thought differently, and they asked each of us to leave.

Sometimes one is in too much of a hurry to write a full blog post, so I have set up a Twitter account as a companion to this site.

A bill to prohibit smoking within 25 yards of a hospital has been killed:

The measure sponsored by Rep. Johnny Shaw, a Bolivar Democrat, failed 9-6 in the Agriculture Committee on Tuesday, while the others either failed or were taken off notice in an earlier subcommittee.
