I returned to my former place of employment and got to enjoy some quality, :cough: Christian fellowship with my Shishter….my old boss and another former co-worker. 

I need to find something I don’t care about so I can forcefully break it in lots of pieces.

I just spent several hours working on my PSBN post - the one I was planning on publishing at midnight.  It was almost done.  I opened a new window and started working on a very emotional draft of a post about the rollercoaster of my feelings since experiencing a miscarriage.

It's been a long time between updates here (quite busy with the job search), so let's get right down to business with some quick observations as to the state of the Nashville Predators and the NHL:

1) The Tennessean's coverage of the Predators took a significant step forward this last season, as John Glennon and Jessica Hopp did a generally fine job, and the editorial staff finally stopped

I've been cleaning up a lot around here lately, trying to make room for the fiance, who's moving here when we get married in late June. So far, I've cleaned off one shelf of a bookshelf [still!], sold my CD player and speakers, and gotten rid of a lot of miscellaneous junk that I don't really want him to replace with junk of his own.

  • Margaret Truman, Eliot Roosevelt, Steve Allen - mystery writers? Did they really take the time out of their celebrityhood to craft, write and rewrite those mystery novels you see on the bookshelf?

We all know that politicians don't write their own speeches.

But novelists? Mystery novelists, in particular?
