It is time to start debating the merits of the Chris Johnson pick and look at what he brings to the Titans.  Chris Johnson is really, really fast.  LenDale White is a good back, but he is never going to break a 60 yard run or take a screen pass, make a couple of people miss, and take it to the house.

I will be out for most of the morning so get the dicussion going here.  I will weigh in on the Titans choices when I get back.

After sleeping on it, I am not as disappointed with the Chris Johnson as I was yesterday.  The worst thing about it is that the Titans are admitting that they are giving up on Chris Henry.

Open Debate: Chris Henry

There has been a lot of debate about Chris Henry ever since the Titans took him in the 2nd round of last year's draft.  Most of the "experts" dubbed him a "workout warrior" and said the Titans reached for him.  The reaction of the fans was mixed.  It was obvious that he had all of the physical skills to be a good player in this league, but his lack of production in college was a huge red flag.

We aren't really any closer to an answer after his rookie season.

Rob Bironas was the hero of the 2007 season.  He made 35 of his 39 field goal attempts, including an NFL record 8 in one game, on the season.  He also made all 28 of his extra point attempts.  Next year I would like to see the number change to 35 extra points and 28 field goals.

Craig Hentrich had another solid year.
