overtime

This is always an interesting game.  As I mentioned the other day, the Titans are 10-2 in this serie, but that hardly tesls the story.

We were up 60-51.

Kansas came back to tie it 63-63

Overtime Memphis wasted more time when inbounding and getting down the court than should be legal.

Blew it.

Kansas wins in overtime 75-68.

There will be a lot of "Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda" talk, today, about how Memphis should have won in regular play.

Bummed.

...even though I was rooting for the Memphis Tigers, they couldn't make their foul shots going down the stretch and lose in overtime to the Kansas Jayhawks 75-68. What a fun ballgame.

One more free throw and the Memphis Tigers would be national champions. Up 60-51 inside of two minutes, we decided to stop hitting them, and the Kansas Jayhawks tied the score at 63 on a three-pointer with two seconds left in regulation.

Whew.

For some reason, the Vols are trying to get my blood pressure up this weekend with their wins. First Friday's game and then going to overtime today. But the good news is--the Vols now have a one in sixteen shot at cutting down the nets two weeks from Monday.
