This past weekend really flew by. On Saturday night, Casey and I went to the Montana Drive In with some friends. We saw the double feature of Indy 4 and Iron Man. Admission is $6.00 for both movies. I really thought it was a steal. I know by reading the reviews the past several days that there is no middle ground, where Indy 4 is concerned.

Went to see Iron Man over the weekend and while it wasn't quite the nirvana that is Spider-Man 2, it was still very enjoyable. That said, I think they're pulling the typical pattern for Marvel Comics based movies--good first film, incredible second film. (See also: X-Men, X2, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2)

A new comedy from Ben Stiller aims satire at actors and warfare in "Tropic Thunder", out in late summer, but the photo out this week got all the buzz as it showed Robert Downey Jr playing a 'committed actor' who decides to dye his skin to play a black character.

The photo is here at EW.com and the movie set-up sounds very funny:

Knoxville–born actor Brad Renfro has been found dead in his Los Angeles home. He was 25.

Renfro first and perhaps most famously appeared in The Client, based on the John Grisham novel.

TMZ is reporting Renfro had just completed filming a movie with Winona Ryder and Billy Bob Thornton.
