The Accountant captured the antics of some lazy WalMart shopper the other day….notice where this car is parked, directly in FRONT of the cart return!  Presumably to get as close as possible to the front door. 

The Accountant even asked the lady if she was afraid her car would get hit and she just laughed and walked into the store. 

Treehugger had a design competition for shelters made from carts and the entries are....well, you decide what they are.

The School Girl and I went to the local Kroger the other day for our semi-regular supermarket sweep. A couple of things stand out in my mind from this trip.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve been using that “save for later” feature in my Amazon cart for years, and I frequently go back days or weeks later and purchase items I’ve set aside. One of the best reasons to do it that way is that Amazon provides messaging in the cart when an item’s price changes, whether it increases or decreases.

Principal: Hi, Ms. [My Actual Last Name]?

Me: Yes!

Chez Bez gets it about the economy. In his world, he’s been hit hard. As he is Chez Bez, he breaks it down in the way only he knows how to do which is, as usual, eloquent.

Last night I bought a 12-pack of Welch’s Grape Soda at Food Lion. This afternoon it is nowhere to be found.

Either we have a pack of goblins living under the sink who persist on a diet of chicken wrappers and grape soda or there’s a cart inside the door of Food Lion with a case of drink under it.

Thor has two goats who pull his cart–Tooth-gnasher and Tooth-grinder.  You can eat them, and as long as you put their bones and hide back in a pile, complete, Thor can make them whole again.  Other than that, I assume that they’re ordinary goats.

I had seen ads for Plumgood's grocery delivery service, did some research, and got my first delivery today.
