In 1992, it was pro-life Democrats who took a hit from the national party at their convention by being refused a primetime slot for one of their best known spokesman. Now, it’s Southern Dems who are taking a hit.

The Supreme Court says Americans have a right to own guns for self-defense and hunting, the justices’ first major pronouncement on gun rights in U.S. history.

I just got off the phone with the recalcitrant brother who is rapidly becoming the radical leftist among his group of friends.  I can’t tell you how funny this strikes me, but apparently knowing your Bible and a little bit about Malcolm X makes you a commie in his world.

Y’all, as you may recall, I sent Rachel from Women’s Health News a crocheted cooter through inter-office mail two weeks ago.  It has yet to arrive.

I think it may be time to acknowledge that the cooter is not going to get there.

Brian Arner notes the switching of various superdelegates to the Democratic Convention and wonders why they don’t just keep their mouth shut in the first place:

I’ve seen a few reports of Democratic super-delegates switching sides–the most recent being of Rep. John Lewis. This strikes me as odd on two levels.
