I found the second story in this post when I first logged on this morning, placed it into my blog here and then debated whether I wanted to run it, since it wasn't directly related to homelessness but I felt that it wouldn't be long before UAVs were used to harass and target the homeless.

So I'm running around today, trying to take care of what can only be described as a rash of injured folks; one person had recently been viciously pistol-whipped, another fell off a ladder and separated his shoulder, another suffered a strong-arm robbery and was beaten, and still another had somehow seriously damaged his knee, when one of them mentioned they'd recently moved down to Tent City and set up camp.

I am very serious when I tell you that I think mandatory health insurance scares me. After reading this column by Jamie Court at the Huffington Post, there are a couple of things that bother me.
