I stopped caring about the Tour de France after Lance Armstrong retired and then the French stole Floyd Landis' victory, but at least Google is making it interesting this year via their Google Maps street-view look at the race route.

Mike Bloomberg continues to lay the groundwork for an independent campaign for President:
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s office is making all sorts of noises about two major announcements: one on Friday in Austin, Texas, the other Saturday in Los Angeles.
A spokesman wouldn’t say what the heck was happening.
