It’s been nearly a week since the Chamber of Commerce rolled back racial progress in the city by voting to resegregate schools. Oh wait, that was the school board that did that. I get the two confused. Anyway, there’s still been no word from any of the city’s white progressive leaders on this issue.

Mayor Demands End of Sex Assaults on Buses

In a NewsChannel 5 exclusive, Nashville Mayor Karl Dean says it's time to do something about the sexual assaults on Metro's special-ed buses.

"I want to get this cleared up and get this cleared up as soon as we possibly can," Dean tells NewsChannel 5 chief investigative reporter Phil Williams.

For months, NewsChannel 5 Investigates has exposed problems on those buses.

Now that the Council Election is Past, Eric Crafton is Back to Fighting Funding For Public Schools

Last July I called attention to what I considered Council Member Eric Crafton's unethical use of a reproduction of Nashville Public Schools letterhead adjacent to his name along with a complimentary, but unauthorized comment from the School Board Chair on campaign material that he mailed to voters.
