Well, we'll see if this'll stop the more egregious cases of dumping but believe it when I tell you that our own hospitals here in Nashville send folks packing all the time who could certainly use some time recovering in their units before being discharged back onto the streets.

I recall when this occurred and wrote about it at some point last summer as the lawsuit rumors flew. I knew the ACLU was involved and wasn't sure how things would turn out back then, but I figured that it probably wouldn't be a good thing for the hospital.
