Few people ever imagine that a lifelong childhood friend will grow up and become a rapist. My sister is grappling with that very scenario right now. His story is here. He texted her a “Happy Birthday” on September 5th—the day he was arrested.

How come didn’t nobody ever tell me about the Sleep Timer on the teevee?  Did y’all always know about this?  I think I sorta knew it was there, but, thought it was for something else, maybe?  At any rate, I like it a whole lot and find it interesting that I sleep better WITHOUT the teevee on!

Sometimes I come into work early and the only coffee shop that’s open (other than McDonald’s, which doesn’t exactly make what I would call coffee) is Starbucks. They’re open at 5:30AM and I’m usually to the office no later than 6AM, so it’s my only good choice for coffee. I also happen to really like Starbucks coffee.

Hoping that by listing the things bothering me, they'll, you know, stop bothering me.  Besides, I need my daily dose of whining and bitching.
