Covering up any real public attempt to answer the question John McCain's suitability for the office of president is the incessant blather that he was a prisoner of war and therefore a hero.

Getting shot down on a mission may be nothing more than an indication that he is a bad pilot, and the additional evidence of his numerous other lost aircraft would seem to support that finding. We know that

Apparently John McCain told two compelling stories at Saddleback Church over the weekend, both of which are seriously lacking in the credibility department.
