Knoxville lands Green Mt. Coffee expansion

The Knoxville News Sentinel reports that Vermont-based Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. is looking to purchase a "334,000-square-foot building in the Forks of the River Industrial Park for $10.5 million" for a packaging and distribution center. The new facility will employ approx. 360 workers.

So, the conservatives of our fine state are up in arms because the governor wants to put in some toll roads and I’m really suspicious of anything the conservatives want that appears to make sense on the surface.

And I thought Lakewood was bad

On my commute into work each day I go through communities that, let’s be nice, adhere to the speed laws pretty strictly. Lakewood is one. The limit is 45 mph and there is always either a policeman readily visible waiting to pull someone over or sitting there behind someone with their lights flashing away.

Perry County: 5.0 inches
Nashville: At least 1.5 inches...
White House: 2.0 inches (just in an hour and a half)

Here in Cookeville...freezing rain and sleet along with thunder...however, snow is moving our way...

Interstates near Nashville are snow covered and dangerous.
