The Internet's on fire today with news the Bigfoot may have been found in a remote area of northern Georgia. While folks are obviously curious as to whether this age-old myth might actually become a modern-day reality, I think if we had any sensitivity whatsoever, particularly as hockey fans, this would be a day of mourning.

ABC News had a prep story about the Bigfoot press conference, under way as I type this (apparently, since there are no stories about it online yet.). ABC is pretty straightforward about where it stands, titling its story, "Legend of Bigfoot: Discovery? Try Hoax." A major red flag?

The big guy’s day is today. Will this confirm or deny his existence?

I was talking to Ivy last week about the state of the nation and the Russia/Georgia war and she said “I’m sort of waiting for the other shoe to drop.”

If you are wondering, which I’m sure you were, I think I have a low-burning ADD. My oldest niece has this as well. She turns 12 next week and I’m afraid she’s turning out a bit like me much to sister Homer’s dismay.
