Over the years, it’s been fascinating to watch the light turn on for certain people regarding what’s taking place in the marketplace of “content” (excuse me, Doc). For example, today, Paul Krugman writes an “a-ha” piece after using an Amazon Kindle for a couple of months.

How my mind works, sorta:

I've been reading through Charles Dickens of late. I just started Our Mutual Friend this morning and encountered a character named Mortimer. I finished the first couple of chapters and in came Lola the pet cat of Wally Manor. This confluence of events reminded me that I once knew a cat named Mortimer. He belonged to that crazy Zorlac skateboarding riding miscreant Toby

If you’re not watching ‘The Wire‘ or not renting or buying ‘The Wire’ (if you don’t HBO), you are missing the great Charles Dickens novel of the 20th and 21st centuries (without all the boring parts). You are missing the avenging angel aka Omar, who just might be the most interesting character in television history.
