The late Governor Frank Clement is honored for his role in the desegregation of Tennessee:

The governor and his family paid the price for that heroic action 52 years ago, recalled Clement’s son, Bob Clement, during ceremonies at the Green McAdoo Cultural Center and Museum.

Yes, many have seen these articles, but I am posting for reference for all those who may need to catch up and were out of town in my district. The Metro Nashville Board of Education passed a massive rezoning plan Tuesday after months of emotional arguments that it would adversely affect racial balance at several schools.
