economic concerns

Pretty soon you’re talking about real money.

My mother used to tell me “you’re worrying about pennies while the dollars fly out the window.”  I’ve been trying to apply that to the current economic concerns of this country, and, well, I can’t do it.  But I reserve the right to come back later and tie it in.

The North Carolina GOP ad, you know, the one that McCain has NOT even seen but doesn’t want run, has apparently been blessed by Obama as a legitimate issue.  Now that Obama says it is an issue, McCain says “me, too!”

Well, we're now here. It's been about 18 months since gas really started going through the roof and now the piper is demanding his due.....

If you don't think we're near the breaking point, you've got to be kidding yourself....

Edwards, his wife, Elizabeth, and other members of the effort will announce a “multimillion dollar” effort called the Iraq/Recession Campaign that aims to highlight the ongoing cost of the Iraq war, according to a press release. The group is attempting to tie the Iraq war to fears that the U.S. is entering a recession.
