Der Spiegel – the German weekly news magazine, comparable to Time or Newsweek here in the USA – has just posted a story praising the remarkable progress that has been made in Iraq.

The right wng is going to go after General Clark very hard because of this:

If I had a dime for every time I've heard someone say they'd like to kill the prez, or for that matter, any number of our more egregious, ignorant and offensive politicians (a wholly subjective matter, to be sure), I'd be rich beyond my wildest dreams.
