The government is beginning to make me wonder if all those years my grandfather hid money in old jackets that were in the back of the closet wasn’t a bad idea.

This is terrifying.

Some might say it's excusable to torture an innocent detainee to death, or to detain war combatants for no reason, these are just isolated instances.

Anyone in their right mind would categorically reject military service if they knew how truly terrible war is and how the US treats her soldiers if they return home with "problems."

I’m not feeling the love for Congress right now.  We have an economy gasping for air, a real estate market hobbled by bad lending practices via a subprime mortgage mess, an illegal war, a legal war (lest we forget Afghanistan), an environment gasping for air (hey, it’ll eventually take care of itself and the cockroaches), a national deficit that is nauseating in its enormity, and a major city demolished two years ago that’s still sitting as a big pile of rubble.

Bush needs to find money to spend on his illegal war, which, interestingly, he doesn’t even include a full years spending, so you know he’s going to cut programs needed by the people. Of course, programs targeted for major cuts are Medicare and Medicaid.

Well, this latest study provides more ammunition for those maniacal leftists who insist that President Bush purposely mislead us lemmings into supporting his immoral and illegal war on the peace-loving Saddam Hussein.

The obvious bias in the “research” is quite comical actually.
