Giles man claims school board policy infringes rights

PULASKI — A Giles County blogger said Wednesday his First Amendment rights are being squelched by a policy that bars unapproved cameras from school board meetings.

Allen Barrett says the policy is directed solely at him in response to articles and videos on Giles Free Speech Zone, an Internet website that has been critical of the Giles County School Board.

Brooke Edwards sent us this picture of pea sized hail on the deck in Leoma, Tn (about 5 mies south of Lawrenceburg).
Hail was also reported in Pulaski in Giles Couny by one of our readers in the comment section of the previous entry.

Although I have mixed emotions about this type of approach, ya gotta hand it to Centerstone for at least giving it a shot.

I guess I'm of the opinion that if performing an "intervention" helps even one person, then the effort was worth it.
