I'm part of Nashville's annual effort to count their homeless population this month. The count occurs tonight (1-28) from 11pm until around 2am and includes every area of Davidson county.

Some 21 teams with a total of around 80 volunteers are joining together at the Nashville Rescue Mission at 10pm and will head out in teams into the "underbelly" of the city to try and find those who are sleeping on her streets, alleys, dumpsters and other "suitable" spots.
