Not only are pain pill scripts hard to get if you're homeless, they're also hard to fill, since although some agencies and organizations will assist with paying the costs of some meds, pain killers - especially narcotic ones - are rarely paid for.

My first thought when I read(here) that Rush Limbaugh has signed with Clear Channel for a gazillion dollars through 2016, is Clear Channel wants to have Rush on the air through the two terms of President Obama's tenure in the White House to keep the fighting between the left and the right going.

Katherine Coble shares a personal story about the DEA’s regulation of prescription pain medication:

Normally, I don't go after the spouses of politicians. But when those spouses commit crimes, then they are fair game.

Cindy McCain was (is?) addicted to pain medication. and by her own admission, STOLE DRUGS FROM HER CHARITIES to use for herself.

So this morning Tennessee once again hit the national news with unreasonable attacks from the GOP on Obama and his wife.

I left this comment on Bill Hobbs' site, the communications director for the GOP in TN, but I'm not sure he'll post it, so I thought I'd post it here.

Here is what I have to say about Bill and Robin attacking Michelle Obama:

The doctor said I did very well during the operation. He was able to perform the laparoscopic procedure to remove my gall bladder which is a real blessing, so instead of having a big incision, I have four very small ones.
