It's now been confirmed that Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins last night.

Angelina and Brad Pitt, her equally gorgeous partner,named their latest children Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.

This makes six children in three years for the dynamic twosome.

I have a hot date today with a mother of three who needs to get out of the house.  She wants to see a movie.  She wants to see Get Smart but I’m not so sure.  And then there’s Hancock, which (don’t spoil it for me) apparently takes a hard left halfway through and leaves half the crowd booing and half the crowd cheering.  Not sure which half we’ll be in and I hate to was

The Dog Days of Summer event hosted by Slow Food Nashville last night in East Nashville was a humongous success for everyone...except me. I got to I Dream of Weenie on Woodland at 6 p.m. and waited in line 20 minutes before getting the announcement that the big attraction—City House chef Tandy Wilson's homemade hot dogs—had run out.

When I was 18 and freshly into Tennessee, a good friend of mine talked me into getting a tattoo. I know, not a good thing to let someone talk you into. I suppose it seemed like a good idea at the time, but 10 years later, not so much. I don’t regret the act of getting the tattoo, but I do regret what the tattoo is.

• Ok, the Bud Light makes you breathe fire commercial was awesome.
• The Audi/Godfather commercial was pretty dern good, too.

Well, that was unrealistic. With a baby, I can’t expect to have two free hands all of the time!  But I do remember liking:

• The screaming squirrel commercial (tires)
• The Angelina Jolie movie
• The carrier pigeons commercial
• Iron Giant
