I haven't updated this week because I have, quite frankly, eaten very little that was worthy of note. And what I did eat that was noteworthy occurred last night and both items were prepared by friends. I ate three banana macadamia nut with cream cheese frosting cupcakes (yes, three which is why I didn't sleep last night) and some beet salad. Yep, beet salad.

Rock choices abound tonight, and it's a tough call.

The Crawfish Boil at Riverfront Park?

The Hives at the Wildhorse?

David Vandervelde and Ghostfinger at Exit/In?

Billy Block Presents the GrandVista Music Club at Limelight?

GRANDFILLE IS BACK.

I missed it. Dang, I missed it!

I can now sleep without the nightmares about capybaras blaming me for her quitting where they eat beer cans and sing Clay Aiken tunes.

And she has the anteater in the sweater I talked about on Twitter.

I obviously wasn’t clear in my last post, but what I’d meant was that it was about time to pack up for the trip home, and the baby had just fallen asleep. I try very much not to let her be unhappy for our 30+ minute commute, because there’s really nothing I can do for the fussy baby in the car but let her be unhappy.

Huh?

A Cuddle Party may look like a pajama party for grown-ups. It’s fun but there are rules. The number one rule, pajamas stay on the whole time. This is a non-sexual event.

Okay, now that we have that out of the way you may ask yourself, what’s a cuddle party?
