I'm one of those people who let my home phone go because I didn't want to pay for a home phone and a cell phone, and since I like to have a cell phone with me all the time, the decision was pretty easy for me.

Now, however, I'm starting to get concerned that I'm putting my health in danger by using just a cell phone.

The NY Times editorial board takes Andrew von Eschenbach to task, and asks him to fulfill his duty as head of the FDA and keep the people safe from salmonella SaintPaul and other potential hazards.

Oh, for crying out loud! For nearly 3 months the FDA could not find the source of the salmonella SaintPaul outbreak, and they are still poking around in the damn dark.

But, the FDA still doesn’t know for sure where the tomatoes got contaminated.

The Food and Drug Administration has expanded its warning to consumers nationwide that a salmonellosis outbreak has been linked to consumption of certain raw, red tomatoes.

This isn’t political, but I thought I’d throw it up here since Tennesseans have been affected.
