Overall I am not a big fan of the ESPN Sunday coverage, but Jackson is actually really good on that show.  He is one of the few guys on that show that provides a good breakdown of the games and what to expect in them.

I was thinking of keeping the medial approval thing local, but then I realized that most of the people who read this blog aren't local anyway.  So I have decided to extend this to the more prominent national media members as well.  Thus I present to you Chris Berman.

There's this misapprehension everyone seems to have that Southern Women are docile creatures with big hair and Daddy issues who need nothing more than an endless diet of frou frou and a fainting couch. Did I mention that we all grew up wanting to marry our horses or Atticus Finch? Well.

I'm trying to find a delicate way to talk about this and words are failing me.

There’s dumb stuff happening in baseball, both on the field and in the ESPN studios. Time to weigh in and set the world right, even though the dummies won’t listen.

On the media front:

• So, Javon Kearse got pulled over for DUI this weekend. Is it just me or does it seem like the Titans are just one step behind the Cincinnati Bengals in terms of negative off-the-field news when it comes to players?

I just hope the guys in the film get some of the profits....
