A report this morning by Fox News' Roger Friedman claims Capitol Music Group head Jason Flom and Capitol Records president Lee Trink will exit their roles at EMI and will not be replaced.

• Report by Global Industry Analysts, Inc.: The world's recorded music market will grow at 0.94% CAGR to US$40.8 billion by 2010. I dunno....hard to take seriously any press release with the sentence, "Music piracy is growing rapidly leaving the legitimate music industry gasping for sales." It's not all because of piracy (though it varies by region). (Press release)

Today, an unusual media project with bloggers and journalists which will track election stories from around the state of Tennessee. I’m very humbled to be asked to be a part of it and I asked HBIC Ivy and CM Ginger if I could explain it here as it would involve a link to yours truly. They agreed.

The result: An idea to let some savvy political followers (except me) find links to the best stories out there and make a list of them that lets readers get the benefit of their foraging and expertise.
