The courts in California, which are more like the courts of Caligula, recently ruled that gays can marry, thus launching the state’s first wave of gay marriages that did not involve Liza Minnelli. While this is great news for California’s leather chaps business, it is a big slap in the face for the voters who will probably overturn this ruling in November.

Nathan Moore is quite perturbed that Obama's recent gaffes/mistakes haven't been given front page coverage by the New York Times. And instead of simply criticizing Obama (because he knows this really isn't a big deal), he does what conservatives do best...complains about a mythical double standard.

*** Superdelgates for Dummies ***

As the Democrat primary drags on ad nauseum, I begin to wonder about this process which allows for superdelegates to make a selection in the Democrat primary process.

Last night's results from the Democrat primary in West Virginia (and yes I joked about that) gave a huge margin of victory to Senator Clinton over Senator Obama.

Exit poll data from the Democrat primary in Pennsylvania showed that race was a factor for about 20% of voters, and gender was also a factor for about the same percentage.

There's some discussion going on at Sharon Cobb's website regarding Operation Chaos -- the conservatives' attempt to extend the Democrat primary for as long as possible via sabatoge.

Never has ten points loomed larger than its number than it does right now for Hillary Clinton. The New York Times (who, one may remember, endorsed Ms. Clinton earlier on) is pissy this morning. Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann did everything last night but strike up a Hillary pinata and then burn her in effigy.

With the Democrat primary dragging on longer than any in recent memory, increasing attention is being given to the superdelegates.

Terry Frank maintains that election officials at her polling place on February 5th were instructing voters to vote in the Democratic primary:

When I went to vote in our recent primary, I took these photographs of the official directions posted at my polling precinct in Clinton, Tn at Clinton Community Center.
