vending machine

I'm still in training mode, and the advent of school means it's back to the treadmill for mid-week tempo runs. It's a paradox, I realize. Theoretically, I could train in the morning on the road, but if for some reason I don't perform and am stuck 3-3.5 miles away from home at 6 a.m., I'll never make it to school by 7.

I've said before that you'd probably be surprised to learn just how many people you run into in the course of your day might actually be homeless. While some of the folks are easy to recognize, a growing number of them are so far from the stereotypical image I think you'd be shocked to discover the truth..

I am one of those people that gets hung up on one food and will eat it every day for days or weeks then move on to something else. This week I have had two obsessions:
1. Maple and Brown Sugar Life Cereal with raisins and 2% milk. Don't ask me why. I bought this cereal for my children and then proceeded to eat the ENTIRE box by myself over the course of 3 days.

Metro Police are searching for the person or people responsible for a rash of vending machine break-ins at apartment complexes and car washes in South Nashville.

Video surveillance photos from one of the cases show a young white man with short hair, who police suspect to be involved with the break-ins.

There are people in the world that have the ability to submit the universe into giving them what they want when they want it. There are others that must work hard, be punished, be rewarded, and taught a lesson. I am one of the latter.

Gift-giving in the workplace can be a real challenge sometimes. Give something a little too "edgy" and everyone questions your judgment or professionalism. Give something "safe" and your recipient thinks you're bland or didn't put much effort into it.
