I've been cleaning up a lot around here lately, trying to make room for the fiance, who's moving here when we get married in late June. So far, I've cleaned off one shelf of a bookshelf [still!], sold my CD player and speakers, and gotten rid of a lot of miscellaneous junk that I don't really want him to replace with junk of his own.

My friend Corey has been listening to a great local country & western (emphasis on western) artist named Garrett Parris lately. He played me a few songs by him the other night and I really liked what I heard. Lots of interesting and clever wordplay with a lot of heart and beauty.

The Tennessean heads back to Lime for this review. Among the good stuff: "one of the best margaritas in town" and the "excellent sangrita from scratch."

I didn't even know there was such a drink as a sangrita (I would have thought sangrita was a typo for sangria), but Wikipedia backs up our local daily on this one (article on sangrita here).

My weeks are starting to be busy in a new way right now. A lot of business-y things are going on and so it’s been a lot of meetings, a lot of brainstorming, a lot of making of lists (and checking them twice).

I so love this line:
