I just joined a gym today , my wife had to for health reasons, so I did to. It has been since high school since I weighed 200 lbs. I weigh 260 now , my goal in a year is to lose 30 lbs. I need to get in shape for all the preaching I plan on doing later next year so keep me in your prayers...

Councilman Steve Hall is up and walking around a little bit after is motorcycle crash on the 4th of July but is still in pain. New tests revealed even more broken bones than originally thought. His right wrist, right leg at the ankle, hand, pinkie finger 10 ribs, shoulder blade, 3 shattered vertebra and two "wings" on other vertebra have all been found to be broken.

Words cannot do today justice, at least of my own experience. I have a picture which will tell a story I will never forget.

Sure, everyone worked their tails off, moving thousands (literally) of buckets of sand, water, and concrete up and down stairs…but my own personal highlight included a Dominican Spa Facial.

Just got word that the sis is being put into the hospital this afternoon and will be induced tomorrow morning. I'm not really thinking in a blog-writing way at the moment, but I just wanted to let you know. My mom's on her way home from work, then we're going to eat quickly and head down. My dad will follow tomorrow morning.

Sedative drugs are a very good thing.

I am normally not a nervous traveler, but always the night before a big trip, I get nervous. I downed 20 mg worth of valium last night at 7:30 pm and woke up fuzzy and drugged at 2:45 this morning.

Don Worrell is the VP of the Nashville Rescue Mission. And, I have known him longer than anyone else in Nashville, some 25+ years. Well, his family was involved in a very bad car accident and were very badly injured. Prayers on their behalf are needed immediately.

I’ve spent enough time on here requesting prayer for my father with lung cancer and for my pregnant wife.

It’s about time that I request prayer for others in my life that are going through some rough times or things in life which just require prayer in general:
