this morning started with a bit of a chaotic drive through nashville rush hour. not something i have had to deal with for a few years now. but, in the end, i spent my morning hours with jay, chatting a new book project and all points updates on each others lives.

We had a great night tonight at the AtwoodZoo. Ham biscuits, Fresca Frosties (an AtwoodZoo favorite made of rainbow sherbet covered in Fresca) some homework, tossing the Frisbee under the streetlight, showers, and then watching the first half of a crazy football game.

Just a brief update on the search for my birth parents. While we were on vacation to Mexico, a letter came in the mail. It appears the State found my natural mother and made contact with her. Turns out that she's very willing to have contact with me. She included her contact information in the paperwork she submitted to the State and they passed it along.
