World Net Daily is reporting that a ruling from a California appeals court could subject the parents of 166,000 homeschooled students in the state to criminal sanctions -- a ruling that will be taken to the state Supreme Court.

The announcement comes today from the Pacific Justice Institute, whose president, Brad Dacus, described the impact of the decision as "stunning."

Word has just come to me that Eric Volz, who has been held in a Nicaraguan jail for a crime he didn't commit, is on his way back the U.S.A. I am told that he he will be landing in Atlanta tonight.

Eric was officially "freed" by an appellate court a few days ago, but the judge had resisted allowing his actual release. While I don't have any more details, I am told that Eric is no longer held by the government and is on his way home. <
