hitting the road

Within the hour, I'll be hitting the road to go to St. Louis for law school at Wash U. I'm looking forward to it with a mix of excitement at moving to a new city and meeting a new group of people, and of trepidation at the idea that for the first time in my life, I'll be forced to do things like study and take notes and not start papers the night before.

Gothy local janglers Nite Nite are lookin' for a van, so we can only assume they're hitting the road soon to spread their gloomy pop around the region.

Yes, it is that time of the summer again. This year, instead of wasting these precious days at home, my lady friend and I will be hitting the road early tomorrow morning to head to Savannah, GA.
