One rather important American ideal that has been conspicuously absent this campaign season is freedom. While the only freedom the Democrats regularly espouse is freedom for terrorists, the GOP hasn't had much to do with it at all. Freedom can be taken away by Islamic militants, invading armies, or governments. While the War on Terrorism has ceased to be the number one issue this time around, the American voter is being treated to all the wonderful ways government can usurp even more o Oh, dear!
