So, I feel like I haven’t written much of substance on here recently. And because I’ve been posting some old posts I’ve sort of ended up with a month long writer’s block that I haven’t done anything or had any reason to get over.

The people running this place are clearly excited about the food they are serving, and their enthusiasm is infectious.

Last night my in-laws took my kids and Brian‘s kids down the street to a hotel to get high on all the partially hydrogenated oil, Red #40 and high fructose corn syrup they could bring over on the plane from Texas.  And to swim.

Nathan and Tauna came to visit from Houston this weekend. We met up with them after church and ate at Lydia's new favorite restaurant.

I admit it: I’m a wings addict. Few things make me happier than well done (read: hot, tasty, crunchy) wings.

In fact, I make my own wings. I try to make wings at least a couple of times a month but on a night when I won’t have to figure out how to feed the kids (E tried one of my wings once … it wasn’t pretty, but I think H likes them ok).
