nap

I obviously wasn’t clear in my last post, but what I’d meant was that it was about time to pack up for the trip home, and the baby had just fallen asleep. I try very much not to let her be unhappy for our 30+ minute commute, because there’s really nothing I can do for the fussy baby in the car but let her be unhappy.

I feel like I’ve snorted broken glass and fire ants so I went back to the clinic in hopes of receiving a shot or miracle pill of some kind.

A female doctor saw me.  A mom. 

Like just about all babies, the Bug’s sleep patterns have changed a lot over the nine months that make up her life.

After covering about 4,000 things this weekend at the little soirée in our little town, I took about a kazillion pictures.

People who know me know:

I love to sleep.
I need 7 to 8 hours per night or I'm a cranky beeyotch.

This is why I'm perplexed at the following:

I slept from 5 to 7:30 this morning (none last night).
I couldn't nap today.
I can't sleep now (granted, it's only almost 10, but still).

Kids, that is.

I’ve been spending more and more time with my son outside lately, as the weather has improved steadily.
