random things

This post is an experiment that uses the RSS feed from the search feature of Twitter for the term “titans.” It is supposed to update throughout the day with any post to Twitter that includes the word “Titans” (note to Twitter users: you do NOT have to use a “#” (hash mark) for your tweet to show up).

I have been TAGGED by Lyndi to share 6 random facts about myself so here goes:

1) Most mornings I have to blow dry my hair, straighten it, and then curl it a little.

2) I watch the Disney Channel. A Lot.

3) This is the first time I’ve lived alone EVER in my LIFE.

Y'all I got the vacation jimmy-legs......bad. I need to get away. It has been forever, and my current job makes it impossible to be gone for any great length of time. I really need to do this for the good of the people around me. A well-rested, realxed Not That Cool would be less inclined to stab people with her letter opener.

Sometime or other, I got the idea that I should keep TennesseeTicket.com focused solely on politics, elections, and news, and push the rest of the things I like to write about off to other blogs. I don't really know why; plenty of other politics, elections and news bloggers that I read regularly mix in notes about photography, music, technology, food, entertainment, or cats.

chris and i just finished packing. not counting furniture or other random things (which, don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of)…we only have 38 boxes of stuff to move!

Cheryl tagged me for this meme, I think I’ve done it before but I thought I’d see if I could come up with more random things about myself.

So I shot a gun.

I’d never shot a gun before. We didn’t have them in my house when I was a kid. I think my dad had one but he never had it around.

A few weeks ago, I successfully convinced a friend to switch to gmail. She was using her ISP’s email, and it had problems. ISPs limit space and tend to block random things (my old bellsouth account used to block my daily comics from comics.com - very irritating). Gmail, I told her, had no downside.
