So, you really think the GOP, and McStain really care about the people in NOLA? AS I remarked yesterday, the rebuilding of the levees that are supposed to help keep the residents of NOLA safe from flood waters, were vastly underfunded, by the GOP.

Brentwood officials are testing the waters on revisions to their building ordianances allowing existing structures in a floodway to build UP not OUT.

Brentwood's code is stricter than what FEMA requires.

George W. Bush's version of the Federal Emergency Management Agency is now disappointing tornado-ravaged Tennesseans like it did New Orleaneans after Katrina. Macon County's homeless tornado survivors are being told that they will have to wait at least a month, probably two, for trailers while FEMA tests them for formaldehyde levels, after dangerously high levels were found in Katrina victims' trailers.
