We went to Applebee’s for lunch on Saturday. In the booth directly behind us were two very harried adults and one very enthusiastic toddler. Mom and dad were trying to eat one-handed while their little girl spent large chunks of time pounding me in the back of the head and trying to engage us in conversation.

Our favorite singer-songwriter-client took home TWO dove awards this year- Country Recorded Song of the Year- How You Live (Turn Up the Music) recorded by Point of Grace as well as the highest award that a christian songwriter can receive, Songwriter of the Year.

I can hear our wind chimes making their pretty sounds once again! A cold wind is blowing briskly from the NORTHWEST. Wind chills have dropped into the lower 20's this evening. There is a hint of a possibility of some snow flurries. I wouldn't count on it.

The next round of winter weather appears to be taking shape for Thursday night through the early weekend. We'll watch it and let you all know!
