A nine-year-old kid is being told he's "too good" to continue playing Little League baseball...

No, really, I'm not making that up.

Nine-year-old Jericho Scott is a good baseball player -- too good, it turns out.

Well, today I did my final pre-operative visit with my surgeon's office and then went over to the hospital and did the pre-operative testing visit there. Didn't really do much at all the whole day, but totally crashed out when we got home.

Because my Baby’s Daddy is out gallavanting in the Southern Caribbean somewhere, I stayed home today cause Sumner County Schools were closed. I’m not so much complaining about that. I was going to take Friday off (one of those Mental Health Days they talk about) to make it a four day weekend.

Seriously...do the members of the UNITED STATES CONGRESS not have anything better to do than see if a baseball player cheated?

Evidently not...so since our taxpayer-funded leaders have so much time on their hands, I have list of other things on which the UNITED STATES CONGRESS should hold hearings:

I’m not feeling the love for Congress right now.  We have an economy gasping for air, a real estate market hobbled by bad lending practices via a subprime mortgage mess, an illegal war, a legal war (lest we forget Afghanistan), an environment gasping for air (hey, it’ll eventually take care of itself and the cockroaches), a national deficit that is nauseating in its enormity, and a major city demolished two years ago that’s still sitting as a big pile of rubble.
