I had the opportunity to meet some more people I greatly admire tonight. This week has been amazing. A lot of socializing, which throws me off, but so worth it.

Hutch, Holly and I were talking tonight about the classic blogger days of Nashville Is Talking and Hutch mentioned how he missed that one voice (Brittney Gilbert) who was always there to point out the best of the best for the rest of us to read and enjoy.

It dawns on me that there have been a plethora of pictures of me on here lately.  Am I becoming narcissistic in my not-so-old-age?  Let’s ponder that….In any event, your Sista looks good in a convertible and must get one.  I have always said that someday, I want a fun car and I want it to be a red Mustang convertible.

Occasionally what some people call political correctness is another name for civility, for a chance to get past the meanness that permeates day-to-day politics and the polarization which is getting pretty damn tiresome.

But, for the love of God, Huckabee doesn’t believe in evolution and supports the abolition of the income tax (to be replaced with a repulsive national sales tax…that house costs HOW much??).  McCain has a solid conservative voting record and apparently supports the second coming of the 100 Years War.

So, it’s not like we are getting any real moderates coming from the grand old party..just some folks that don’t march lock-step with the right right.
