I understand the whole contracting process, and I understand the reality that failure to fill out just one little line is cause for bid rejection.  But have there ever been occasions when the state has allowed any state contract to be rebid in the interest of saving the taxpayers money?

A series of community meetings will be held to update the public on the Strategic Plan for Sidewalks and Bikeways for Davidson County and to solicit input from the community.

Among the meetings will be one for Zone 5, which will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Glencliff Elementary School, 120 Antioch Pike.
