Tomorrow is the big day, Obama's speech in Berlin is scheduled for about 7PM which would be about 12PM Central time. Given the time it'll play in the US, and the fact that Obama is no stranger to large crowds (and its hard to capture the difference between a half million Germans and 75K Oregonians in a tight camera shot), I'm not sure there'll be much effect on American politics.

The presidential primary in Oregon today is quite unique - no one in the state will be going to the polls to vote. Back in 2005, they became the first and only state to have a 100% mail-in ballot.
