Why does the downtown theater show such crappy movies?

I woke up this mornng with a hankering to get dressed up and go downtown to see a movie tonight, so I look at the paper to see what's playing.
Blech!
I have a choice between:
Hancock
or
Wanted
or
Wall-E
or
Get Smart
or
Love Guru
or
Incredible Hulk
or
Kung Fu Panda
or

Tons of Movies

I've seen a few movies recent that I thought I would offer my thoughts on. Spoiler ahead if you haven't seen them.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I've got to admit that I was a bit disappointed by this one. I'm not sure if my expectations were too high or what, but this movie didn't thrill me. I enjoyed it well enough and having Indy back on the screen was really cool, but

Indy Jones, the Wrath of God?

The Tennessee Environmental Council (TEC) was set to benefit from proceeds from an advance screening of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull last Wednesday, until Paramount Pictures changed the schedule for early viewing

Casey and I are headed out to the Montana Drive In to see Indiana Jones 4: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull tonight. The double feature is Iron Man, which is GREAT, because we haven't seen it yet. I know the reviews of Indy have been mixed.

So, I went and saw Indiana Jones yesterday.

I'm going to go ahead and ruin it and tell the whole plot.

It turns out, Shia Lewhatever is Indiana Jones' great grandson. He's heard legends over the years of his renegade archaeologist of a great-grandfather so headed over to his house (he's a recluse now) to meet him.

Blockbusters belong at the Belle Meade Theatre

Don't tell my husband, but I've been tempted to try all the Indy-themed candy that Mars has rolled out to pair with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I saw the movie last night. I'm not sure what exactly was supposed to be evocative of:
